Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (short coat). Meet Beauty! Age: approx 11 months, est birthdate 12/23/24. Breed: mixed, DNA shows 34% pit bull, 25% husky, 13% cattle dog, 5% golden retriever and remaining % supermutt (German shepherd, chihuahua, American Eskimo, etc). She is 100% adorable! :) Size: 30ish pounds, we believe she will be about 35ish lbs. Training: crate, leash, and house trained. Good with dogs/cats? She has done well with dogs and cats, however she doesn't do well with small animals such as chickens. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful, loyal, eager to please. Reason for rescue: accidental litter. She was recently returned for not doing well with the other dog in the home. She has done well with a variety of dogs in her foster home of all sizes. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
