Molly Kay is a beautiful, one-year-old small-breed mix who's learning how wonderful life can be. This sweet girl came from a hoarding situation, and while her past means she’s a little shy and easily spooked, she's also braver every single day. She's learning to love life in her foster home with three kids and a handful of dog siblings. Molly Kay is a true toy connoisseur and wants every single one in her bed with her at all times. She loves to chase a ball, even if her legs are still figuring out how to keep up! Her past of malnutrition and being kept in a too-small crate impacted her muscles and growth. After radiographs and a visit with the ortho vet, we are happy to report that surgery is not needed. She may always have a wonky way with her walk, but we are already seeing progress now that she has proper nutrition and freedom to move! Speaking of moving, her favorite thing is being close to her person—she’ll follow you everywhere, like your own little shadow. She's an absolute sweetheart who is learning that a crate can be a safe space and that going potty on grass isn't so scary after all. Molly Kay is looking for a patient and understanding family who knows her past doesn't define her. With a little time and a lot of love, she'll blossom into the confident, loving companion she's meant to be.
