Dog Breed: Chihuahua. Meet Peanut! This little 6-pound Chihuahua came into rescue with her three tiny babies when they were just two weeks old. Peanut was a wonderful mama, and now that her puppies are healthy and strong, it’s her turn to find a happily-ever-after of her own. Peanut is a gentle, easygoing girl who has done amazingly well adjusting to home life. She’s crate trained, doing great with potty training (she goes out every 3 hours on schedule), and is having fewer and fewer accidents. She eats politely with the pack and even waits her turn for treats like a perfect little lady. While she hasn’t quite figured out the fun of toys yet, Peanut does like to swipe the big dogs’ toys just for herself. Mostly, she’s a cuddle bug through and through & adores soft blankets, cozy naps, and being close to her people. She’s quiet, not yappy, and has a very calm demeanor. Peanut is wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. After all the hard work of raising her babies, she’s ready to just soak up love, treats, and a peaceful, happy home.
