Dog Breed: Carolina Dog (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300. Hi, my name is Ritzy, and I used to be a Cracker! I am a fun-loving dog, ready for adventures, which include car rides, long walks, and probably hikes, playing at the beach, going on runs, and lots of other adventures I haven't tried yet. Since I have been at my new temporary home, I have learned how to go in my crate when I am told and even when I am not since it's a nice roomy place to hang out. I will even share it with my new dog friend, Phoebe who lives at my temporary house. I also learned how to stay out of the kitchen when the cats are getting fed. I am very smart and am learning new things all the time. I learned how to be an office dog, which means being quiet and taking lots of naps. But I will let my foster mom know when it's time for her to take a break. I already knew Sit and Shake and love getting treats when I do that. And I know when to let Mom know if it is time to go out and do my business or just take another walk. I do love to take walks! I like playing with dogs of all sizes and cats if they want to. Most times they don't but I am not bothered when they let me know with swats, hisses and spits. I will just keep trying since some of the cats do like me and will even share the sofa with me. And I like all the people I meet, even the little ones. My name is Ritzy because I am like the Ritz, or putting on the Ritz, as I am fashionable and showy. I might have expensive tastes - time will tell with that one, and I have the same colors as the Ritz cracker! If you would like to meet me and maybe give me my new home, I am taking applications.
