Dog Breed: Boxer / Mastiff / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $595 + MN tax. Ruler the Drooler! Aka - the perfect puppy you've been looking for!!!! This sweet 6m, 45lb dude is ready to find his forever, and is very good at moving right in! Ruler came to us from Animal Control and was set to be euthanized if he didn't find rescue. You may notice that he's very skinny. He IS skin & bones with a big ol' head, but he's getting healthier every day with the right nutrition, naps, and socialization. Ruler is a sweet, kind, happy-go-lucky guy who is all love and snuggles! He's great with the other 2 dogs in his foster home, and isn't bothered by the cats at all either. He lives with a teenager and has also met younger kids, and has loved everyone! Ruler loves to chew on things - so make sure they're approved items! His favorites are antlers and nylabones. Ruler is also learning to enjoy his very own Lambchop stuffie, and how to take over the couch. Ruler isn't fully potty trained yet, but he is making great progress when he's kept on a schedule. Ruler was probably left alone for long periods of time, so he does have some separation anxiety. His foster has been having him sleep in his crate in their room, and he doesn't mind that one bit, so he's showing great progress already. Ruler loves car rides and adventures to the pet store and Home Depot - he's truly a take-anywhere guy! Leash training : a lovely gentleman who walks on a loose leash already! Crate training : sleeps though the night in crate in foster's bedroom - daytime crating is a work in progress - he much preferes to be where his people are. Potty training : working on it!
