Description

Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat). Saphira was brought to the shelter with many other dogs; her home life prior to the shelter was a little rough. Saphira is asking for grace while she continues to learn and adapt! Saphira is a very friendly girl who does not appear to be bothered by much. She adores shelter staff but may be a little shy when first meeting. She tends to be a quite girl but is incredibly loving. Saphira prefers calmer spaces and time with her people. Though she has a pretty easy-going personality, we feel she will be more comfortable in a calmer home. Saphira will likely need some support with potty training as her previous home did not provide her with regular potty breaks. She prefers to be in a clean space and will be quick to learn! Saphira walks well on a leash and knows the cue `sit`. Saphira has not been reactive towards the other dogs and is always happy to see her canine friends. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed. If you feel that Saphira would be a good fit for your home, we would love for you to meet her!
