Description
Dog Breed: Alaskan Malamute. Meet Elliot! Elliot is a handsome 6-year-old Alaskan Malamute with a smile that’s absolutely contagious! He came to us as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed—but it’s clear he once had a home. When he arrived, he had been recently shaved (not ideal for a Malamute— their coat protects them year-round!), but his beautiful fur is growing back nicely. Elliot is a total sweetheart with a playful spirit and a heart as big as his paws. He walks beautifully on leash, knows some basic commands, and loves to show off his friendly, happy personality. He’s done well meeting female dogs and enjoys spending time outdoors soaking up the sunshine—or, in true Malamute fashion, playing in the snow when winter comes! ❄️ Because he enjoys talking (yes, that means howling!) and needs space to stretch his legs, Elliot would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard rather than an apartment. This gentle, loyal boy has so much love to give and is ready to find a forever family who will adore him for the wonderful dog he is. If you’d like to meet Elliot, please apply here: .easelnj/application-dog/ Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application. Please go to .easelnj/adopt to submit an adoption application. Someone will be in touch within 48 hours.
