We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Texas shelter partner Special adoption considerations: Buddy is very nervous in his new environment. He may not go to a home with young children under 12 years of age. He is also REQUIRED to go to a home that already has a confident resident dog that will help show Buddy that the world isn't so scary. About Buddy: Buddy was cherished by an elderly couple who adored him deeply. Sadly, they had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him when their own health needs made it impossible to provide the care he deserves. In their love for him, they even made sure he was freshly groomed before bringing him to the shelter—hoping to give him the best chance at finding his next forever family. This sweet boy loves people and happily soaks up affection, but the noisy, unfamiliar shelter environment makes him nervous. Buddy longs for a safe, loving home where he can relax and know he belongs. Buddy dreams of warm laps to curl up on, endless games of fetch, a basket full of toys, and tagging along for family adventures. With his gentle spirit and loyal heart, he’s ready to bring joy, comfort, and companionship to his new forever family. What My Foster Says About Me: Buddy needs a foster!
