Dog Breed: Boxer / Mixed (medium coat). Mimi is a fun-loving, playful girl! She loves people and meeting new dog friends, though she may come on a little too strong for some. She can be jumpy when she's excited, but she just wants you to know how happy she is to see you! OTHER PETS: Mimi got along with other dogs, but she may be a bit too overexcited for some. Though she is respectful of other dogs not wanting to play with her, she can be a little overzealous during greetings for dogs that are naturally more shy. She should meet any dog that she may be living with to ensure a good match. [Case-By-Case (Must Meet First)] OWNER EXPERIENCE: Mimi does have a strong prey drive; she is deceptively strong and can pull enough to knock people off balance/into things causing injury if she chases a squirrel during a walk. [Some Experience] KIDS: Mimi is tolerant of handling and hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding while here at TJO, but she can be a bit jumpy when she gets excited! She would likely do best with children that can understand how to interact with her. Interactions between children and dogs should always be actively monitored to ensure that both parties remain comfortable and safe.
