Dog Breed: Yellow Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Please contact ADOPTION (adoptdoggieharmony) for more information about this pet. Leena needs attention and I think she would do well with someone that will take her for walks and play with her. Leena is such a precious girl considering her rough start in life. She was abandoned on a busy road and was almost hit by her now foster mom. She went from a scared, skiddish, untrusting girl to a happy, bouncy, can’t get enough loving little girl. Leena is a young one year old, housebroken which she picked up very quickly, crate trained, very playful. She can play by herself which is very entertaining to watch. She loves her cuddle time. Leena is a complete joy to be around. All she needs now is her forever family. Age: 1 Weight: 45 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, older sturdy kids (she's an active big puppy) Training: Housetrained? crate-trained? obedience-trained? Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
