Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees (medium coat). Meet Marcy! Born around March 15, 2025, she is a playful and curious little girl with a big heart for a small dog. We think she'll weigh around 60-70 pounds when she's fully grown. Marcy is a social butterfly who absolutely adores other dogs! She would do especially well in a home with some furry adults to model good behavior and keep her entertained. She's also wonderful with kids. While we're not sure about her feelings on cats, we do know she loves a good squirrel chase and playing with her favorite rope toys. Whether it's a spirited game of fetch or a long, lazy "Pyr nap," Marcy brings the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy snuggles. This clever pup is believed to be highly trainable. She already knows her "sit" and "kennel" commands. She's a house-training champion, a pro with a doggie door, and even uses a leash like she's been doing it forever. She loves to please and will bring you her food bowl to let you know she's ready to eat! Marcy is very well-behaved in the house, but like any puppy, she does require supervision. She's also an excellent sleeper, resting in her crate or kennel all night long. Marcy is incredibly affectionate and forms strong attachments to her people. Gentle and supervised introductions to other pets are the key to helping her feel secure and loved in her new home. She has a special way of looking you right in the eye when she's seeking attention. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy. 3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0 SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
