*SHUFFLES - AUSTRALIAN KELPIE / MIXED (MEDIUM COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Description

Dog Breed: Australian Kelpie / Mixed (medium coat). Petite sweetheart in need of a place to recover, either temporarily or forever! She has a torn cruciate ligament that will need surgical repair, and we’re looking for a foster (or adopter!) willing to help her through her recovery. The shelter will cover her medical care; we just need a quiet, supportive home to give her a place to heal. Recovery is typically about 6–8 weeks, so the total commitment would be around 2–3 months. While Shuffles can become overstimulated in the chaotic shelter environment, she’s a different dog outside the kennels. Once out on walks, she relaxes, walks nicely on leash, and checks in frequently. She enjoys affection, takes treats gently, and loves one-on-one attention. Staff working with her report she’s making wonderful progress and is highly food-motivated.
