Description
Dog Breed: Shepherd / Mixed (short coat). Meet Button Boo Boo! This sweet girl is as precious as her name. A young pup with an old soul, Button Boo Boo is incredibly low-key for her age. She’s already showing signs of being wonderfully well-mannered: she’ll happily trot into her kennel when asked and is very food-motivated (she doesn’t know the word “sit” yet, but she’s already doing it instinctively when treats are involved!). If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing companion who’s already got a great head start on being the perfect pup, Button Boo Boo might just be your girl. Button Boo Boo is microchipped, spayed and current on her vaccines and her adoption fee is $415. Apply to adopt BUTTON BOO BOO LONESTAR at .ehrdogs

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
