We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Maude is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 09/30/25 Maude had a dental polishing. Maude was found as a stray. We do not know her genetics to confirm what breed mix she is. Our best guess is a doodle, but only a DNA test will tell. We cannot guarantee Maude is hypoallergenic or that she doesn't shed. Maude requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? Maude is a warm and gentle girl who will thrive in most environments. She is good with other dogs, is past the puppy stage of needing lots of play dates and has a demeanor well-suited for family life. She simply wants to be your companion. What is my personality like? Meet Maude, a lovely standard poodle with a heart as big as her curls. Her gentle spirit is matched by an eagerness to soak up affection, and it doesn’t take long before she’s leaning into pets, nudging for attention, and asking for cuddles. Her nervousness never outweighs her need for love. Maude is an extremely sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, curl up in your lap, and melt into belly rubs whenever she gets the chance. She’s just as content being the center of your world as she is sharing her home with another friendly dog, making her a versatile fit for many different households. Thanks to her eager-to-please nature, Maude is highly trainable and will likely pick up on routines, manners, and new skills with ease. Whether she’s learning leash walks, house manners, or simple commands, her intelligence and affection will make her a joy to teach. We believe Maude would do well in almost any home environment, as long as it’s one where she can feel safe, loved, and included. Maude may be just a little nervous at first, but her desire for love and connection quickly shines through. Other tips and tidbits: Maude was found as a stray, so we have absolutely no history on her. Based on her overall health and condition the shelter estimated her at 6 years old. We celebrate her birthday 08/25/19 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
