Now he’s ready to find a new family who will love him forever. Pound Cake is as sweet as his name. He’s easy to leash up and walks politely without pulling, making strolls with him a breeze. In the play yard, he’s happy to explore on his own - sniffing, trotting around with his floppy ears bouncing, and occasionally checking in for some pets. He’s friendly, gentle, and enjoys attention, though he’s also independent enough to amuse himself. This medium-energy boy isn’t toy-obsessed, but he’ll give them a curious look if you toss one his way. What he does love are treats! He takes them softly from your hand and has already started practicing his “sit.” With a little patience and consistency, he’ll be a pro in no time. Pound Cake would do best in a cat-free home, but he has plenty of love to give to his people.
