Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Hi, I’m Ursula — the shelter’s sneaky little lovebug. The volunteers here tell me I’m their favorite hangout buddy (I try not to let it go to my head… okay, maybe just a little). I’m the kind of girl who loves a soft blanket, a few squeaky toys, and someone to share them with. When I’m out of my kennel, my whole personality shines — I stretch out, roll around, and show off my happy, playful side. I might even sneak in a few surprise kisses when you least expect it. I’m a gentle soul, perfectly content to chill and watch the world go by. Other dogs walking past? No big deal. I just wag my tail and go back to playing with my toys or cuddling up for belly rubs. Inside my kennel, I can be a little shy — it’s a bit overwhelming in here sometimes — but give me a few minutes outside and you’ll see the real me: a bubbly, sweet, easygoing girl who just wants to love and be loved. Everyone here keeps saying, “How is Ursula still waiting?” I wonder that too sometimes. Maybe my family just hasn’t realized yet that I’m the one they’ve been looking for.Until then, I’ll be here — blanket spread out, tail wagging, ready to meet you. — Love,Ursula Ursula recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine. She wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Check out her playgroup video here: To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
