Description
Dog Breed: Hound / Beagle (short coat). Fiddle is a handsome boy who is looking for a new home. Fiddle is with a partner shelter in NC but heading to NJ on 11/1. Fiddle is a very friendly boy who walks well on the leash. He has done well meeting other dogs at the shelter and did well on his cat test. Fiddle does have some scars and what looks to be a scar from a bullet hole but all are healed - physically at least. Fiddle is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee will be $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
