Dog Breed: Hound / Australian Shepherd / Mixed. Hello, my name is Hot Dog. I am a 9 month old female Hound/Aussie mix that weighs 35lbs. I was surrendered due to my previous family no longer being able to care for me. I am now looking for my FURever home. I am still very young and will need a family that has the time and patience to help me become the best dog I can be. I have done well with male dogs my size or larger. I am not suggested with female dogs or small animals. I was raised in a home with children 5 years and older. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies, basic boosters to date, and heartworm negative. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
