Dog Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / Mixed (short coat). Cheese Louise is a 1-and-1/2-year-old female Catahoula mix who has already been spayed. She is an owner surrender because her owner could no longer take care of her. Cheese Louise has a merle coat/black with gray and white markings; she is gorgeous. This pretty girl weighs 67 pounds so she is a large dog. Cheese Louis has been well loved and well taken care of. She is well behaved--leash trained and housetrained. She is good with other dogs and children--loves water and life in general! Cheese Louise enjoys being in and around water. This friendly and playful dog would be an excellent family dog. Cheese Louise will need a structurally sound fenced yard as keeping her contained in a fenced yard has been a problem in the past. Cheese Louise is such a great dog--please come check her out. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
