Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Kirby is a handsome young pup who is looking for a new home. Kirby is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Kirby is 12 weeks old and we think he will stay on the small/medium size. This ball of fun is your typical puppy and is ready to explore the world. This sweet boy is curious and playful and just look at those ears! His foster in LA says he is super smart, he's already crate trained and working on his housebreaking skills. he LOVES his toys and his foster bro. He's very sweet and pretty chill for such a young puppy, he's not a jumper. Kirby has his initial puppy vaccines and has been treated for puppy Parasites. Wag On Inn will arrange for him to be fixed and microchipped at the spay-neuter center in Holmdel when he's about 5/6 months old. Adopters must live within in driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. His adoption fee is $550. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
