Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Minnie has the most unforgettable spirit! Sadly, she hasn’t had the easiest start. She came to us severely underweight, scared, and with scars on her face, reminders of a past we’ll never fully know. But her past doesn’t define her. Her scars don’t define her. Her JOY does. Minnie is happy, healthy, and ready for the chapter she’s always deserved. And if you ask her, every new human she meets is her long-lost best friend. No exaggeration, she has never met a stranger. She instantly loves everyone & every single person gets the wiggle-butt welcome. This special girl loves other dogs, is crazy about toys, & is extremely food motivated! She is crate trained, and potty trained as long as she gets frequent trips outside. Minnie makes the cutest “woo woo” singing sound when she wants to go out or is hungry. It is absolutely just as precious as it sounds. And we love how chill she is about dressing up! Princess? Absolutely! Cowgirl? She says I don’t mind if I do! Holiday spirit? No problem! She’s also a master of the Resting B-Face, and she’s not sorry. She can be wiggling, tail going a mile a minute, excited out of her mind….and still look like she’s judging your life choices. All black + RBF = people scroll right past her online. But here’s the secret: Meet her once, and you’re in love. Every. Single. Time. Although Minnie’s start at life was likely very difficult (& she has the scars to show for it), she’s not looking for someone to feel sorry for her. She’s looking for someone to LAUGH with her, PLAY with her, and love her silly, sweet, resilient self. Minnie is overlooked online, but unforgettable in person.
