Dog Breed: Beagle / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). Meet Poppy! Poppy is a 4.5 month old bundle of joy currently weighing in at just 11 pounds. She might be some sort of Beagle and Dachshund mix. Whatever she is, this sweet little pup is playful, curious, and always ready for fun, but she also has a soft, cuddly side that will melt your heart. She’s crate trained and is working hard in her foster home on potty training and leash training. She gets along well with other dogs and kids. Whether she’s chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, or snuggling up close, Poppy brings sunshine wherever she goes. One of her favorite spots is her cozy dog bed. She loves curling up there after a busy day of puppy adventures. With her loving personality and gentle spirit, Poppy is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. She is ready for puppy training classes and a forever home of her own! She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on preventatives. Her adoption donation is $425. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
