Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed. CiGi is a beautiful, sweet black lab mix with a great personality. She loves to be loved! Just look at her face and you can tell! She is full of puppy play and has a great time running and playing with other dogs. She also enjoys the company of children. She weighs about 30 pounds and is about 1 year old. It is not known if she has been house or crate trained, as she was found with her sibling as a stray. So, a refresher course would be good for her. She walks great on leash and loves to go for long walks. It is not known if she has met cats. Labs are known for their friendliness towards people. They have more than enough affection to go around for the whole family, too. They have plenty of energy as pups and usually like to stay active throughout their lives. As a mix she will probably have a lot of these lab qualities. She will also benefit from mental stimulation in the form of activities and play toys. It will help prevent boredom. If you have a secure back yard, that will give her the freedom to play and burn off extra energy. Either that for recreation or walks, hikes or jogs will keep CiGi fit and primed for burning off her medium energy level. Using the right guidance with consistency and patience, will help her with the skills she needs to master. Cheerful praise and lots of treats will go a long way in mastering those daily routines.
