NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ADOPTION RETURN WITH CISCO - ADOPTER ILL Pablo - male - 6.6 pounds - 11 years old - Chihuahua Original intake date: 5/19/2022 owner passed away Adopted: 5/28/2022 Returned: 9/26/2025 adopter very ill Reason for intake: Sweet Pablo and Cisco have now been through two homes where their person either passed away or became very ill. When we took them in three years ago when their human passed away, we thought we found them their furever home. Unfortunately, life had different plans. Sadly, their owner has become so ill she can no longer care for them. Of course, we took them back. They've been lovingly cared for but fell behind on vaccinations when their human fell ill. They have always stayed on Trifexis for heartworms and fleas. Pablo is now on heart medication. They both need a dental, despite having one in May of 2024. They will be heading to our vet for everything they need the week of 9/29/2025. Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.
