ROYALTY (“RORY”) - TERRIER / MIXED DOG FOR ADOPTION

Description

Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Royalty ("Rory") was picked up as a stray by Sable Kennel. She quickly came into foster thru Paws Across Pittsburgh. Her front right leg was amputated a couple weeks ago due to a severe fracture. Rory doesn't seem to mind her new normal. She says she's not handicapped but rather handi-capable. This beautiful girl is about 6 months old and 15lb. She is anticipated to be small to medium sized once fully grown. Breed is likely a terrier mix. PLAYTIME - Yes please, her favorite toys are her piggie and her raccoon EATING - So good at it. (She will go to her food container to remind you when it's time to eat, hehe.) CUDDLING - Superb skillz, particularly loves to have her head nuzzled in your neck. CRATE TRAINED - You betcha, and she knows good things happen in the crate, like meal time and treatos! POTTY TRAINED - Progressing nicely but will still need someone willing to work on it. HOME SETTING - She can navigate stairs, and we'd prefer a home without large/full stairways for ease. KIDS - school aged children or older, please OTHER DOGS - gets along fine with her foster sisters and accepts corrections from them; barks at other dogs if they won't play with her CATS - unsure, would likely bark at them to try to initiate playtime Rory is a puppy who is ready to find her forever home. Right now she's a little shark-toothed piranha raptor who needs a bone, or she'll use you as one. Once she's tired, she'll cuddle up and snooze like a champ.
