Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Meet August, a young black and tan Labrador mix who’s the perfect blend of fun and sweetness! At 44 pounds, this handsome pup is almost full grown and will likely top out around 50 pounds—just the right size for adventures and cuddles. August loves romping around the play yard with his canine pals. While he can be a little shy around the overly boisterous types, once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines and he’s ready to throw down in the best way. Still a young pup, August has all the joyful energy and curiosity of youth, making him a wonderful companion for an active family ready to guide him as he grows. With patience, love, and plenty of playtime, this sweet boy is sure to blossom into your best friend for life. Could August be your new adventure buddy? August has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.
