This handsome 10-month-old German Shepherd is bursting with energy, curiosity, and a huge heart ready to share with his forever family. Overlooked at the crowded shelter, Samaro is more than ready to swap kennel walls for wide-open spaces and a life filled with love and exploration! Samaro lives for outdoor time: walks where he can sniff and explore are his absolute favorite. He walks nicely on leash, comes when called, and already has “sit” and “shake” down pat (treats are a strong motivator—he’s working on taking them more gently). He is people friendly, gets along with other dogs in playgroups, and is eager for any chance to leave the shelter behind. He’s even signed up for Barks & Rec, the shelter’s doggy day out program, because what he REALLY wants is to get out and explore the world with you. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants a shot at real life outside the shelter walls, come meet Samaro. Take him on an outing, or better yet, give him the home he deserves.
