Meet Hulk, a delightful puppy with a heart full of joy. Hulk and his sisters Harli, Hatti, and Haven can’t wait to meet you! We are thinking these playful pups are a Chihuahua and Dachshund (aka Chiweenie) mix. Hulk is a delightful puppy brimming with sweetness and a goofy charm. His days are filled with joy as he frolics around, making everyone laugh with his funny antics. Smart and gentle, Hulk loves playing with other dogs and is fantastic with kids, always ready for a game or a cuddle. His favorite pastime? Romping around with his cherished toys, spreading happiness wherever he goes. Being just puppies, they will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. Adopting Hulk or one of his littermates, means bringing home endless fun and a loyal friend who’s eager to share her love and playful spirit with a family that cherishes her. Medical Note: This puppy was born to a mother dog who was positive for heartworm disease and had circulating microfilaria. Microfilariae can be transmitted from mothers to unborn puppies through the placenta; these worms, however, will not develop in the puppy into adult heartworms because the heartworms must pass through a mosquito to fully develop. Microfilariae may live up to two years within the host dog in whom they were born, but they should be eliminated when the puppy received its first dose of heartworm preventative. This puppy has been given heartworm preventative regularly while in SOS care, but to ensure that any remaining microfilaria are fully eliminated and the risk to other dogs (via mosquitos) is minimized, SOS recommends that the puppy be kept on Advantage Multi or Parasedge (imidacloprid + moxidectin) for monthly heartworm preventative for at least the first three months after adoption. This product provides protection from heartworm disease as well as fleas, but another tick preventative (oral) should be used.
