Size potential: she is grown Leash trained: yes Crate Trained: not used to being in a kennel but well behaved so she will Do fine. Potty trained: yes Kids: yes Other animals: yes Energy level: medium House or apartment: either Story/background: Onnie was dumped on the side of the road last Christmas with her baby munchie. Thankfully she found her way to a house where an older lady and man and loved and cared for her. These kind people will be selling their home and moving to an assisted living around Christmas. Onnie needs a new home for the holidays. Ideal home/family: a family that enjoys snuggles, giving treats and going for walks! Onnie loves kids and other animals. She’d also enjoy being the only dog if that’s the case. She’s easy going. We would love her to go in a home with her baby, munchie

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
