Dog Breed: Siberian Husky (medium coat). Meet Loki, a handsome Husky who's still figuring out this whole shelter thing. With all the new sounds, smells, and faces, he’s taking it all in with calm curiosity. True to his breed, he’s a bit aloof at first—but don’t mistake that for indifference. Loki is quietly observing, learning the routine, and waiting for a place where he can finally exhale.He arrived with two other dogs and is slowly building confidence in play groups. He’s starting to make a few dog friends and is showing us glimpses of the fun, social guy he’ll be once he’s settled. Shelter life just isn’t his style—he’d much rather stretch out in a cozy home, go for walks with his person, and have space to explore the world at his own pace.Loki doesn’t need loud fanfare or constant attention—he needs someone who understands the Husky spirit: independent but loyal, thoughtful but playful, and happiest when given respect and patience. If you’re willing to give him a little time to warm up, you’ll earn a devoted companion with a gorgeous smile and a heart ready to bond.Loki is ready to trade in concrete floors and noisy kennels for a soft bed and a loving home. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
