Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Meet Jerry! Sweet Jerry came to us with his best friend Dean. They are quite bonded and we would love to place them together but we know that can be hard. In the right setting we can consider separating them. Jerry and Dean did not come from a great place. They arrived in rough shape a few months ago. Jerry was very underweight and had some cuts and lesions on his body. He has been in our rehabilitation home together with Dean and he is so wonderful! Jerry is the most affectionate boy ever. He is so gentle and kind. He loves loves to be petted and loved on. He is friendly with everyone. Jerry is still learning about leash walking but is getting the hang of it. For now, a home with a secure fenced yard is best for him. Jerry and Dean both had ringworm upon arrival and have been receiving treatment for that. They are in their final week of treatment now and once it has all cleared up they will be ready for their forever homes. You could not imagine a better pair of dogs. Jerry and Dean are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Their individual adoption fee is $450. If they can be placed together, their adoption fee will be $500. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
