We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Pearl! She is a 7 year old, 8 pound miniature poodle. Pearl is a resilient little sweetheart who is healing beautifully after her recent surgery. She may have been through a lot, but you’d never know it—this lively, bouncy girl has an endless zest for life! Pearl loves people and thrives on attention. She’ll happily curl up in your arms when she needs extra comfort, and she doesn’t mind being carried around if that’s easier for you. She’s gentle and sweet with other dogs—sometimes her eager attempts to befriend them can be a bit much, but her heart is always in the right place. Pearl is about 90% potty trained, and with a little watchfulness, she’ll let you know when she needs to go by pacing near the door. Crates and kennels aren’t her style, so she’ll need a family that is comfortable letting her sleep in an open dog bed or snuggle in bed with her humans. She does have some balance and vision challenges, but she gets around just fine and doesn’t let it slow her down. Pearl does experience separation anxiety, so her ideal adopter will be someone who works from home, is retired, or is otherwise able to be with her most of the time. In return, Pearl will give you constant love, companionship, and the kind of devotion only a rescue pup can offer. Pearl has been through so much, and now she’s ready to find her forever home—a place where she’ll be safe, cherished, and adored for the rest of her days. Could that be with you? She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.
