Dog Breed: Boxer. Hi! My name is Hughes! I am a handsome 6-7 year old fawn boy who turns heads with my unique one up/one down cropped ears, cutest underbite, and bright and expressive eyes! There is no knowledge of my past life but I'm looking forward to my forever home! I am a typical boxer boy that is ready at the sight of a leash for a long walk or a nice afternoon nap with the humans. I am energetic when asked to play or walk but will lounge and sleep while the humans work and am non destructive in the home. I am house trained, crate trained, great on leash, respond well to verbal command, and don't bark but will "sing" (howl) if the humans whistle or howl with me! I have great behavior outside and do not dig or jump fences and will sleep through the night in my kennel or on a dog bed on the floor. There are teen kids in my home and I love going for walks with them or playing in the backyard with them! I've met several elementary kids and greeted them kindly and enthusiastically. I'm on the smaller side so not intimidating for small kids. I live with an alpha boxer female and an older boxer boy and I get along fine with them. Sometimes I am stingy with the toys and don't want to share but I am working on that manner! My foster mom thinks I would do well with another dog to play with. I love walks, car rides, and giving kisses! I also love being with people and want to know what they're doing and if I can help! My foster mom says I am "amazing, smart, intuitive, and very eager to please" and I would agree!
