Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed. ‘DOUBLE NAME’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 6-7 months old / Approx. 29 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m John Henry! My brother and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and we’re sure glad to be part of the MM family now. We arrived feeling a bit under the weather, but after getting the attention and great vet. care we needed, we are back to our fun and happy puppy selves – ready to bring lots of love to our new homes! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, and of course I love my brother, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I was a bit shy at first, but now that I feel good again, I seem to be over my shyness and am a super sweet and loving guy. I have been warming up to people pretty quickly at the shelter and I have great puppy energy, am playful - yet pretty calm for a puppy. You will fall in love with my fun and friendly nature. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where so far, I have learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, and ‘place’ commands as well as how to accept friendly strangers without jumping. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy the attention I get from the volunteers and love our play sessions. I love to romp and play with people and toys alike. A fenced yard in my new home would be a great place to spend time playing with you! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
