Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Linda is an A+ sweetheart! She's a pro traveler and will hop right into your car. Once there, she loves hanging her head out the window to savor the open road. She enjoys being treated to pup cups and licks them gently. On a recent day trip, she proved to be a wonderful companion. At the car wash, she was a little nervous about the soap and water spraying on the car, but didn't whine or panic; she just hopped into the front seat to get some reassuring pats. Afterward, she met many new people on the UCD campus. She was a bit cautious at first but warmed up quickly. She rode the elevator in the parking garage with ease. She was completely non-reactive to bikes, skateboards, and runners. On a hike in the foothills, not even the squirrels or deer could tempt her to pull on the leash. Linda is lovely! All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
