Dog Breed: Dachshund / Chihuahua / Mixed. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. This beautiful little girl was a shelter pull. She was very worried in the shelter and just shut down. Due to that, she was at high risk for euthanasia. We are so happy to have her safe in a foster home, and she is so relieved to be out of the shelter environment. Audrey is a small little lady, only about 25 lbs, although she looks a lot bigger in photos. She is full grown at about 2 years old. We do not know her breed but maybe Chiweenie mixed with something else? Audrey is house and crate trained- she has not had any accidents in her foster home. She is friendly and very loving, and she gets along very well with other dogs. We have not had the chance to test her with cats but I honestly can't imagine her being at all aggressive to anyone. She is very low key and quiet. She would be an excellent choice for adopters who live in an apartment or condo type home. Audrey is fully vetted and ready to find her forever home. She is located in Arkansas and is available for adoption locally, or she can transport to out of state adopters if they can pick up in TN, VA, MD, PA, NJ, or CT. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
