Dog Breed: Anatolian Shepherd / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Hi! I’m Pepper Anatolian Shepard/German Shepard mix approximately 10 years old. I am currently in foster Monday - Thursday, those days I am available for meet and greets by appointment. I reside at the shelter from Friday 1000 thru Saturday closing time if you want to meet me without making an appointment. I can tell you I really want to meet you.Foster Mom here: Anybody looking for a well trained good steady companion look no further as Pepper is the dog for you!! She has not met a human she did not like, loves to follow you from job to job outside( she is great supervisor….. LOL). Loves car rides, well behaved in the car. Has great house manners. Enjoys her crate( she likes to lay in it with the door open). Does well crated at home alone. Loves belly rubs. She is a big girl but she will not knock you down( she might help you get up if you did fall). She is comfortable with urban noises. Will alert when appropriate, but not excessive.Pepper would love to be in a home with a modest secure yard(being true to her breed if she finds an opening she will use it, but I do not think she will create one), spend most of her time with a human( seems like any human will do), go on car rides and of course LOTS of belly rubs. Pepper is not a dog to take on walks. She is dog friendly or could be your only dog. I believe she would do well with kids/grandkids. I am currently introducing Pepper to my cat but VERY slowly. I believe it will be successful. She is a total love??????
