We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Kennedy would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Kennedy is Looking For: A loving family who can help introduce him to life in the DMV! He would love some toys, pets, treats and maybe even a bed to call his own. He’s got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager to have his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world - he hasn't seen nearly enough of it. At 1 year old and just 34 lbs, Kennedy is the perfect size for any space and at the perfect age for training! He still has that goofy puppy side to him and he loves other dogs and toys. He is also not shy toward people and enjoys snuggling up beside you once he tires himself out playing.
