Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $300.00. Beautiful, sweet, gentle girl looking for her happily ever after! This is Queen Bee, we call her Queenie for short. Her name is a bit deceiving though because she is quite the opposite of a Queen Bee. Queenie is a submissive and adoring 2-year-old pittie mix, she is approximately 48 pounds. She came to us from a high kill shelter in sunny New Mexico and her short little coat does little to keep her warm in this chilly Utah Autumn! Queenie loves to curl up in her bean bag bed like a warm little cinnamon roll. Queenie is submissive with her foster siblings, she loves them and is always trying to give them kisses with her waggly tail traveling at up to 100MPH on the happy odometer, occasionally giving them a love thwap to the face. Queenie is an all-around ideal dog! She is house trained, and crate trained. She sleeps like a peaceful little angel all night long and all day long when her foster mom is at work, without a peep. Queenie loves her walks but she is NOT like a working dog that requires extensive exercise. Queenie has not met any cats or kids yet but would likely get along superbly with both, even small kids. Queenie is an absolute Lady and always lets her foster mom walk through the door first so she doesn’t knock her over. A dream day for Queenie would start with some good morning hugs and kisses, then a 30 minute walk through the neighborhood to smell all the pee mail left by the neighborhood dogs, followed by a long nap on her warm fluffy bed, then a romp on the grass with her foster siblings, then time for a big delicious dinner, and finally a snuggle for a movie on the couch with a pile of blankets and the humans that she loves. She is not opposed to the 5-hour version of Pride & Prejudice, she will snuggle with you all the way through, she is no quitter. Queenie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption.
