Rio weighs 11 pounds, she is a perfect size mini. Rio was very loved by her family, but they started having children and Rio was overwhelmed by them. Her family decided it best to find a home where Rio could be more comfortable. Rio is a great little girl. She loves people and wants to be where you are. If you are sitting down, she wants to sit on your lap. Rio loves to play with dogs her size. She is very gentle, so she would do best with playful dogs her size. Rio is crate trained, but loves to sleep in bed next to you. Rio did have bladder stones removed recently, so she does eat prescription food. Her new family will need to continue with the prescription food. Rio is looking for a home with no small children, someone who is not gone long hours and a playful doggie sibling her size. Rio's adoption fee: $600 We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found. Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing.
