She’s fully housebroken in the home, preferring a calm, predictable environment where she can feel safe and secure. Cali can be timid around new people, so she’ll need a patient, experienced family who understands how to go slow and let her build trust on her own terms. Once she opens up, she’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. Cali prefers to be the only pet in the home, she doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs and can be reactive to dogs. She is looking for a home where she can be your one and only. She thrives in a peaceful space with adults or older, dog-savvy kids who can respect her boundaries. Cali is past the puppy chaos and is looking for a quiet life full of companionship, comfort, and understanding.
