This 1½-year-old sweetheart has come a long way and is ready to shine in her forever home! When Lemon first came into rescue, she was covered in mange — but with love and care, she’s made an incredible recovery. Her hair is growing back beautifully, and the few remaining scabs are almost gone. You’d never know what she’s been through by looking at her now — she’s full of life, love, and joy. Lemon adores everyone she meets and is wonderful with other dogs — she even manages to get the crankiest pups to play! She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and a great traveler who rides calmly in the car. Playful, funny, and affectionate, Lemon has a charming quirk — she’s convinced she’s part cat and loves to perch on the back of chairs to watch the world go by. Liz Lemon is as sweet as her name and ready to bring love, laughter, and a little lemony sunshine to her forever family. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
