Dog Breed: Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Shelby. This petite black Lab mix is as sweet as she is adorable. At just about a year old and 35 pounds, Shelby is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. She’s a happy-go-lucky girl who adores her humans, loves car rides, and is both potty trained and crate trained. Shelby would do best as your one and only. She has a bit of resource guarding, so she’ll thrive as a solo dog — or with an experienced handler who understands structure and boundaries. We’re open to a foster-to-adopt setup for the right match. If you’ve been looking for a loyal sidekick who’s equal parts fun and affectionate, Shelby might just be your girl. All of our adoption fees include veterinary exam, age appropriate vaccines (up to date at time of adoption) spay/neuter, microchip and deworming.
