Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Meet RicoHe‘s 8 years old and 30 lbs… His owner has cancer and can longer care for him so he is looking for a new place to love him through the next chapter of his life. A handsome Aussie/Terrier mix of sorts! If he was a food order he would be ordered as one medium floof nugget, with a side of smiles- tail waggin sized, with all the dippin sauces of happiness. This guy has grins that just won‘t quit, loves him some car rides, enjoys being bribed with treats for tricks, isn’t much of a kisser, and relishes all the attention he deserves to receive. Rico is easy to love, gets along great with dogs and most cats and kids. He walks good on leash and is housebroken and crate trained. He is a true gentleman and is ready for that special person(s) to give him his well-deserved furever home. He is waiting to meet you! Neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption! To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $100 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs. All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first.
