Max is a gentle, low-energy pup who’s all about love, relaxation, and good company. Whether it’s people, other dogs, kids, or seniors—Max gets along with everyone and brings a calming presence wherever he goes. This well-trained gentleman is fully potty trained, crate trained, and rides like a pro in the car. He’s also incredibly affectionate and happiest when he’s lounging in a sunny spot or soaking up cuddles from his favorite humans. He sleeps peacefully in his crate all night and can be trusted to free roam around the house in the day! Max is currently working on shedding a few extra pounds and managing some mild arthritis, but he doesn’t let that stop him from enjoying life to the fullest—especially if there’s a cozy spot to nap or a kind hand to pet him.He loves to be outside with multiple walks a day and long naps by the window. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion with a heart of gold, Max might just be your perfect match! Adopting a senior dog is like getting a vintage car – it comes with character, a few extra quirks, and might need a bit more maintenance. Expect occasional tune ups at the vet for oil changes (aka meds), and embrace the fact that those 'normal lumps and bumps' are just part of the well-earned charm package!
