Description
Dog Breed: Pomeranian / Chihuahua / Mixed (medium coat). // Find our applications at .midwestanimalrescue Adoption Fee $400 plus tax Meet Clark! This spunky, sassy little Pomeranian–Chihuahua mix is equal parts cutie pie and bossy pants. Clark knows what he wants and isn’t shy about letting you know with his voice and body language. He takes time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he can be a sweet cuddle buddy—on his own terms, of course. Clark is housetrained and enjoys strutting proudly on leash. He is an active little guy and will need daily walks. Clark is GREAT in the car and loves going for rides whether it is for short errands or long trips! He loves playing with squeaky toys too! Clark currently is being fostered in a home with several dogs and does just fine after introductions. He can be a bit reactive (barky and bossy) when meeting new dogs but once introduced and comfortable, he will race and chase with them in the yard. Because of his strong personality, Clark is looking for an adult-only home with people who can set boundaries with him. If you’re searching for a spirited sidekick with plenty of character, Clark just might be your match! or When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history. //

More About Chiranian BreedOverview:
The Chiranian, also affectionately known as a "Pomchi," is a charming hybrid breed resulting from the cross between a Chihuahua and a Pomeranian. Originating from designer breed efforts to combine the desirable traits of both parents, this small companion dog typically inherits a compact size, usually weighing between 4-10 pounds. Their physical appearance can vary, often featuring the long, soft coat of a Pomeranian in various colors, coupled with the alert, expressive eyes of a Chihuahua. Temperamentally, Chiranians are generally affectionate, lively, and intelligent, though they can exhibit a "big dog" personality in a small package, sometimes prone to being vocal. They are highly adaptable, making them an excellent choice for apartment living and can be suitable for families with older, respectful children. Health-wise, like many small breeds, they can be prone to dental issues, luxating patellas, and tracheal collapse, making regular veterinary check-ups essential for a long, happy life.
