Description
Dog Breed: Boxer. Hi! My name is Kori! I am a beautiful 6-year-old smaller fawn boxer girl that was removed from my previous home due to neglect. I currently live in a rescue foster home and making progress each day! I am low to mid energy and enjoy activity such as going on walks and napping on the couch. I love affection and want to be with the people, including when outside because I do not like being by myself. I am house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and know basic commands! I have met new people and it takes me a while to warm up but once I do, I will never leave your side! I lived with dogs in my previous home and currently live with an 8-year-old male huskie and female boxer. I tend to gravitate more to the male dog. I am pretty submissive but if I am first on the couch I will verbally let the other dogs know if they get too close to my space. If there is another dog on the couch, I don't mind willingly joining them! No resource guarding is seen with me, but we all eat separately anyways. I love treats and am good at receiving them when other dogs are around. My foster mom says she thinks I am just adjusting to the new doggy dynamic and trying to find my place in the pack. My ideal home would be a low activity home because a lot of activity makes me nervous and loud noises scare me. Because of this, small children may not be ideal for me. I am a loving girl but do not like to approach new people and will bark if a stranger pulls up in the driveway. I haven't taken interest in toys yet but will occasionally grab the chew bone! I am learning how to play and will get frisky in the morning, greeting you with the "boxer wiggle"!
