Dog Breed: Bulldog / Chinese Shar-Pei / Mixed (medium coat). Gunnar is a lively, affectionate pup who’s always ready for an adventure! Whether he’s running around outside playing, or soaking up attention, he does everything with enthusiasm. He loves being around people and never says no to a good petting session. With his playful spirit and friendly nature, Gunnar would make a wonderful companion for someone who can keep up with his energy and give him plenty of love. Gunnar previously had some resource guarding behaviors, but with the help of his previous family and our behaviorist, has made huge strides and is now much more comfortable sharing his food and toys. We still do recommend a home with no smaller children or other pets, but Gunnar would be fantastic in a home that matches his energy. Gunnar currently weighs 60 pounds (he is short but stocky!) and is neutered. If you are interested in meeting Gunner, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
