Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier. Meet Ranger! At around 3 years old and 20 lbs, Ranger is a compact little bundle of joy with a nonstop tail wag and an upbeat personality to match. This happy guy was surrendered to a rural shelter through no fault of his own and is now settling into foster care while he waits for his forever home. Ranger has been friendly with everyone he’s met and does well with other dogs when introduced properly. He’s playful, social, and loves attention — don’t be surprised if he lets out a bark or two just to make sure he’s on your radar. Ranger is doing well with his house training and keeps his space clean. He hasn’t shown any signs of being an escape artist — he’s just looking for a safe, loving place to land. If you’re looking for a dog with spunk, heart, and a whole lot of tail wags, Ranger might be your guy. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)
