Dog Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $250. Meet Waylon! Waylon is a 7-year-old gentleman with a heart as big as his smile! We believe he’s a mix of German Shepherd, Catahoula, and Beagle — and he seems to have inherited the best traits from all three. This happy-go-lucky boy has an endlessly wagging tail and a gentle, friendly personality. He’s well-mannered in the house, fully housebroken, and crate trained. Waylon gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy fit for just about any family. He’s currently working on polishing up his obedience skills and doing great! Waylon is a bit overweight at the moment (around 65 lbs) and is on a healthy diet plan — his ideal weight is closer to 55 lbs, so he’ll appreciate some gentle walks and portion control in his new home.
